A start to finish bioprocess where a protein, a domain antibody fragment (dAb) was produced and purified.  

 

Process outline:  

  • Domain antibody fragment (dAb) production in E.coli in a single-use stirred-tank 50L bioreactor 
  • Release of dAb to periplasm through heat treatment 
  • Clarification and concentration of dAb using cross flow filtration 
  • Purification of dAb using affinity and multimodal chromatography
